Whilst as Ash and the crew you need to find parts of a map and the Kandarian Dagger to defeat the demon and exorcise it from the mortal plane. As the Kandarian demon of choice you set up scares, enemy spawns and traps with the ability to drop in and do damage yourself if you build up special meters. Instead of one monster of the week chasing around a group of survivors in a Slasher film-inspired playground, it’s more akin to the original Sam Raimi movie experience. This anarchic asymmetrical game by Saber Interactive is a unique take on the genre. Fill up your Chainsaw with gas and slot some shells in that boomstick because it’s time to kick some Deadite ass. Since the early days of asymmetrical co-op and multiplayer, the genre has steadily chugged away in the background, with loads of newer games establishing themselves as big hitters in the genre. Half play as zombies, the other half as survivors.
